In second year I have learned about HTML and by learning these module i came to know what is HTML, purpose of using HTML, etc.. ? Though it was very new to me, i really enjoyed a lot. Even i have design my personal web pages using HTML.
HTML is highly flexible. It's interactive with CSS and JavaScript and some Applets. It's also universal and can be easily learned. As far as programming languages, they usually are exclusive to a certain area where as HTML is convertible to morph into XML, etc and XML can be used to operate programs and the such. I favor HTML because of its flexibility as I just gave examples. I hardly ever mess with Programming Languages because I can accomplish so much with scripts and applets and creating my own HTML XML devices from scratch either for embeddable applications, web interactive, scripts, anything.
